2020 Champions

John Steinbach and Lucas Acuna

The only thing possibly more grueling than the year 2020 was the 2020 Commissioner’s Cup. An updated format and a sweltering August afternoon pushed each team to the limits of their endurance until the sun set. The final match saw Dave Greer and Eric Rardin facing off against John Steinbach and Lucas Acuna for the title. Despite a noble effort by Dave and Eric, the grinding offense of John and Lucas did what it had done all day and brought home the win.

2021 Champions

James Isselee and John Mark Pocock

The third Commissioner’s Cup would see the addition of an individual play-in stage and the largest pool of competitors in the tournament’s young history. But even with new blood, the finals would feature two veterans of championships past, as James Isselee and John Mark Pocock squared off against John Steinbach and Mark []. Ultimately, the gritty play of John and Mark would not be enough to overcome James and John Mark’s show-stopping acrobatics, and two new names were added to the Cup.

2022 Champions

David Delgado and John Mark Pocock

As the tournament took shape, it became inevitable that we would have a repeat champion for the first time. The finals witnessed the previous champions pitted against each other along with the return of an inaugural champion. Despite the pedigree of his opponents and teammate, David Delgado was unfazed, as he and John Mark took down Nick Boronski and James Isselee in a full match that went the distance.
