HCM is an investment advisory firm under the capable hands of James Dondero, who is the president and co-founder of the firm. Dondero graduated from the University of Virginia with majors in Finance and Accounting. He is a certified management accountant and is allowed by the law to act as a chartered financial analyst. Currently, he is on the board of directors at American Banknote and MGM studios. He also serves as the board chairman for CCS medical corporation, Cornerstone healthcare, and Nexbank.
